Vaginal CO₂ laser treatment is performed on an outpatient basis in a doctor’s office. A specialized applicator is gently inserted into the vaginal canal, emitting micro-pulses of laser energy.

It is a comfortable procedure that is generally well tolerated and does not require anesthesia. After the procedure, the patient can resume her daily activities the same day, following basic medical recommendations. Each session lasts approximately 20 to 30 minutes, making it a quick and convenient option. Generally, 2 to 3 sessions are recommended, depending on each patient’s needs and the medical evaluation. Sessions are typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart to achieve the best results.
