Facial Electroporation
Facial electroporation is an advanced, non-invasive aesthetic treatment that uses modulated electrical pulses to increase cell membrane permeability. This process allows the temporary opening of microchannels in the skin, facilitating the penetration of high-biological-value active ingredients without the use of needles or aggressive procedures.
Unlike microneedling, which uses physical needles to create channels, electroporation uses low-frequency electromagnetic wave technology and short pulses. The process is divided into the following steps:
- Temporary Opening (Electropores): When the device emits the electromagnetic wave onto the skin, it temporarily alters the structure of the cell membrane. This causes the opening of tiny channels or "micropores" in the lipid layer of the cells and in the epidermis.
- Deep infusion: Through these temporary channels, it is possible to introduce active substances (such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins, collagen, elastin or peptides) that normally have molecules too large to penetrate the skin's natural barrier on their own.
- Closure and assimilation: Once the device stops emitting the current, the electropores close immediately, trapping the nutrients inside the deep dermis so that the cells can begin to utilize them.
Thanks to this technology, it's possible to deliver active ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamins, peptides, and antioxidants to deeper layers of the skin, optimizing their effectiveness and boosting the skin's natural hydration, repair, and rejuvenation processes. This treatment stands out for its efficacy and comfort, offering numerous benefits.
